Naturally, if you are not happy with this Privacy Statement, you should not use this website. By visiting this website, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Statement. We retain two types of information:
1. Personal Data
This is the data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you and may include your name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and date of birth. This information is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us, and we will always at the time of request for entry inform you of the reasons why we require your Personal Data.
2. Non-Personal Data
Similar to most websites, we gather statistical and other analytical information collected on an aggregate basis on all visitors to our website. This Non-Personal Data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic information regarding, for example, user IP addresses where they have been clipped or anonymised, browser types and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our website. We use the Non-Personal Data gathered from visitors to our website in an aggregate form to get a better understanding of where our visitors come from and to help us better design and organise our website.

We may provide Non-Personal Data to third parties, where such information is combined with similar information collected from other users of our website, for example number of unique users who visit our website, the demographic breakdown of our community users of the website, or the activities that visitors to our website engage in while on our website. We may pass your personal data on to a third-party service provider/product producer contracted to the pension store in the course of providing our service to you. Sale of Business
We reserve the right to transfer information (including your Personal Data) to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, receivership or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets of The Pension Store Ireland Limited trading as the pension store, provided that the third party agrees to adhere to the terms of this Privacy Statement and provided that the third party only uses your Personal Data for the purposes that you provided it to us. You will be notified in the event of any such transfer and you will be afforded an opportunity to opt-out.
Your Personal Data is held on secure servers hosted by our Internet Service Provider. We take our responsibilities in relation to the security of your Personal Data very seriously. The nature of the internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the internet. No data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, our website https://www.my-tax.ie has an SSL cert meaning that a secure connection is made on each visit and that all information transmitted is encrypted which we have undertaken to protect your Personal Data and we will review these measures regularly.

We will facilitate your rights as a data subject in line with our data protection policy and the subject access request procedure. This is available on request.
Your rights as a data subject
At any point while we are in possession of or processing your personal data, you, the data subject, have the following rights:
• Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
• Right of rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Right to be forgotten – in certain circumstances you can ask for the data we hold about you to be erased from our records.

• Right of portability – you have the right to have the data we hold about you transferred to another organisation.

• Right to judicial review : in the event that Organisation Name refuses your request under rights of access, we will provide you with a reason as to why.
All of the above requests will be forwarded on should there be a third party involved as we have indicated in the processing of your personal data.

Retention of your personal data
Data will not be held for longer than is necessary for the purpose(s) for which they were obtained. the pension store will process personal data in accordance with our retention schedule. This retention schedule has been governed by our regulatory body the Central Bank of Ireland and our internal governance.
In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data is being processed by the pension store or how your complaint has been handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority and the pension store’s data protection representatives Data Protection Officer.
Failure to Provide Further Information
If we are collecting your data for a contract and you cannot provide this data the consequences of this could mean the contract cannot be completed or details are incorrect.
Changes to the Website Privacy Statement
Any changes to this Privacy Statement will be posted on this website so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstance, if any, we disclose it.
